Yeah, wouldn’t we all rush to rescue the Dursleys.

Dursleys were horrible, but they’d still followed Dumbledore’s letter and kept Harry. They could have just thrown him out to the orphanage despite all those wizardy things.

Well, he would have rescued them…maybe not in a heartbeat, but after they’d gotten a little taste of what life in Voldy’s crosshairs must’ve been like for their ward. And maybe even the Dursleys would’ve gotten a bit of character-building out of that experience! At least Dudley was beginning to show the tiniest glimmer of a capacity for compassion.

Yes,this shows the nobility of Harry.Best chapter to describe Dudley’s feeling and Harry’s anger at their stupidity.I think i love Harry for his feeling for them.

So noble of harry to think of the Dursleys even though they didn’t look after him well.

This was one of my favorite parts, when Dudley, in his own ways told Harry that he loved him and that he was going to miss him… and that he was really part of the family, Dudley’s life wouldn’t be the same without Harry in it:)

This was a great part of DH. Mr. Dursley accusing Harry of wanting to take his house.
