There are now only 83 days left until "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" hits theaters! We are posting a quote from the first half of the book every day in celebration and to give us a chance to discuss and ponder the final book as it goes to film. Here are today's!
Finally Bill said, "All right. Who do you want to talk to first?"
Harry hesitated. He knew what hung on his decision. There was hardly any time left; now was the moment to decide: Horcruxes or Hallows?
"Griphook," Harry said. "I'll speak to Griphook first."

this moment is so important to me, its the the one moment where Harry decides his fate really by trusting dumbledore, even though he knows that left so many things to chance. he doesn’t want to pursue dreams of glory by becoming the master of death and uniting the hallows. he decides to go after the horcruxes, which would end up bringing a lot of happiness to everyone. basically, he chooses others over himself, and that really foreshadows the events that go down in the forbidden forest. most importantly, this is the moment that Harry starts to become the type of selfless hero he was destined to be. yay, 82 days, till part 1!

I agree with Hermy007…this is pivotal. Of course, the irony is that by not choosing Hallows, he ends up with them & by accepting death in the forest, he does master it.

Like hermy007 says, this is a pivotal point in the book. We see Harry make the turn, where he truly puts faith & conviction into his direction. This was the point in the book where, as I read, I could feel a transformation in Harry from a boy trying to do what he felt expected, to a man who was confident in his path. And I loved him all the more for it.
An interesting moment in the book, and it looks as though they are showing something like it in the film.
