There are now only 94 days left until "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" hits theaters!  We are posting a quote from the first half of the book every day in celebration and to give us a chance to discuss and ponder the final book as it goes to film.  Here's today's quote!
"Is this it? Is this Sirius's bike?"
"The very same," said Hagrid, beaming down at Harry. "An' the last time yeh was on it, Harry, I could fit yeh in one hand!"
        -Rubeus Hagird
-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, "The Seven Potters"

I saw a picture of Harry and Hagrid on the motor bike in Entertainment. Hagrid was driving and Harry was in the side car holding on for dear life.

Such a nice little quote…it says that Harry arrived & left Private Drive for the first & last time in the same way. So sweet :-)

@devilskinn and @Melissa…both of those are great parallels, thanks for pointing them out. :) I love seeing how much Hagrid loves Harry…even after losing so many others, Hagrid is there. tear

I can’t wait to see the bike and the whole film, Melissa i love this quote for the very same reason. Makes you appreciate how clever Ms Rowling is for having the small things like that in her book.

:) xxxx

I really like the connection everyone seems to be drawing that the whole scene is symbolic because it was Hagrid that brought Harry and now it is him taking Harry away. I love it.
