Warner Bros. have sent over the first official one sheet teaser poster for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" Part 1 and Part 2 and you can check it out right here in our galleries.
The poster shows a burning Hogwarts castle from across the lake with flames and smoke rising from its towers. The tagline is set against a dark sky and reads: "It all ends here." Part 1 of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will be released on the 19th of November 2010, with the final installment to follow in mid-July 2011.
Many thanks to WB!

That looks magnificently amazing! (Ignore my desire for extra long words) I can’t wait to actually sit in front of the screen with the actual Deathly Hallows on!

Awesome! I can’t wait!
In response to Phoenix1946’s statement about fixing Hogwarts…It’s true that Hogwarts was built by wizards and not normal stonemasons, but I think that would actually make the entire school more difficult to repair, because it always seemed to me like Hogwarts was a living, breathing thing, constantly changing on its own with no guidance or instruction from others…the moving staircases, rooms which shift appearance. I think it might be very complicated to restore that after the last battle. Also, it’s been pointed out in various places (even on Pottercast) that for some reason, even with all of their repairing and cleaning spells, wizards for some reason have let certain parts of Hogwarts fall into disrepair. Anyway, that’s just my two cents on the subject…I’m sure the physical damage could be repaired, easily or not, but the emotional damage…To have so many subsequent tragedies at the school, with Cedric dying, then Dumbledore, then Snape, and various students (including poor Colin), I think the environment in the years after would be a weird combination of hopeful and yet grieving.

it’s the most beautiful (while at the same time horrible) teaser poster i’ve ever seen!!!
i love the drama, how they’re making the point of how huge this has all been and therefore how significant that it’s coming to an end is..
i love how they used the HP7 logo to separate the dates. i love the simplicity of it all.
i just love it.

The image of Hogwarts burning is amazing, but I really HATE the “HP7” thing. They put “HP6” on the first couple of HBP posters- regardless of the fact that none of the previous films have been numbered- but then they took it off the later ones. I wonder why they’ve put the number back on this one. I don’t like it.

The poster is fabulous ! However Leaky got it wrong. It is not a dark sky. It is the dawn sky. Looking at the left side, the sun may come up at any moment. It represents the climax of the battle : Demise of Voldemort.

The poster really is beautiful, sad but beautiful. There are enough powerful witches and wizards to rebuild Hogwarts over the summer break, especially if Harry uses the Elder wand before he returns it to Dumbledores tomb.

Such a sad picture… but at the same time it has an ethereal sense to it.
