A quick reminder that today, Sunday, June 6, NBC will be broadcasting "The Making of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter," a half-hour preview of the Harry Potter theme park set to open June 18 at Universal Orlando Resorts in Florida. The special will feature "exclusive cast commentary and a sneak peek at the authentic detail woven through the entire environment, as well as the ground-breaking technology that will forever change the theme park attraction experience." "The Making of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter" will air on US television network NBC at 7pm EST.
On a related note, this evening will also see the MTV Movie Awards 2010, during which, a clip from the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" is set to air. Additionally, the sixth film, "Half-Blood Prince," has been nominated for a total of five awards, including a nod to actor Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) in the Best Villain category. The 2010 MTV Movie Awards will be hosted by comic Aziz Ansari and air
live on at 9pm ET on MTV.
Any readers able to capture video of either event, please do email staff@leakynews.com.

I must confess myself disappointed by the preview of the theme park on NBc; it seemed more like an extended commercial based on footage from the movies than an actually substantive preview of the park and what it contains that we anticipated.
Decided to record the MTV awards to see the DH clip. Twilight’s getting the proverbial you-know-what (their stars are there and they didn’t mention if any Potter stars are there), and Emma’s already lost to Kristen Stewart for Best Female Performance.
If you’re not watching, the DH clip is coming up in the next few minutes. One new scene shown in the commercial is Ginny kissing Harry, in a much better rendition than the HBP one. I tell you, the 2011 or 2012 award for best kiss may be a nomination sweep by DH: Emma/Rupert, Bonnie/Dan, and Emma/Dan (the Horcrux scene).
YAYYYYYYYYYYYY! I just saw the Deathly Hallows Trailer on the MTV Awards – It was amazing! Ron yells – you have no family at Harry – totally emotionally charged. Squeeee!
NOTE: This clip appears to have footage from both parts. Okay, so it opens with the trio hiking a mountainside. Then a shot of Voldemort in a forest clearing, then Harry at #4 releasing Hedwig (maybe she lives in the movies!). Then the trio powerwalk we’ve seen (Emma in purple), a shot of Voldemort and then Harry, then Voldemort standing on train tracks looking like he’s stopping the Hogwarts Express. Emma with bloody hands, Ollivander, Ginny kissing Harry (could be at Hogwarts, I see people in uniform but Harry isn’t). Harry at Dobby’s grave overlooking Shell Cottage, then a shot of a wet/sandy trio looking frustrated. Harry laying on the forest ground looking over at something (voiceover of Voldemort: The Boy Who Lived, come to die). Harry in pain. Harry shooting a spell in a diner it looked like, the trio in their wedding outfits going down the street. Harry and Ron fighting in the tent (likely the precursor to Ron leaving, it’s nasty, Ron throws a “you have no family!” line in). Someone wet swinging a sword (it was dark but I’d assume it was Ron on the locket). A chained dragon busting walls (Gringotts I’d assume), then a fire creature. The trio running from others in the forest (the snatchers scene, I guess?). Then a final shot of Harry next to a tree with the “you really don’t stand a chance” voiceover, and then the DH title plate, but no “part 1”. They also showed Tom Felton there at the awards.
"Mum, you've given me Ginny's new dress," said Ron, handing it out to her.[br]"Of course I haven't," said Mrs. Weasley. "That's for you. Dress robes."[br]"What?" said Ron, looking horror-struck.
Can’t wait for tonight! Watching it with the family! Only thing I’m wathing thogh…
