Dan Radcliffe to Appear on Stephen Fry's "QI" This Christmas

Actor Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) will be guest on the popular UK quiz show, QI, this Christmas, according to a recent tweet made by the "Quite Interesting" host, Stephen Fry. The BBC One program, brings on three guests each week to win points for coming up with the most interesting responses to scholarly questions on all subjects. Mr. Fry's tweet appears to be in regards to the just completed filming of the Christmas special of QI. The tweet reads:

Our special surprise guest on QI tonight was the sweet, charming and adorable Daniel Radcliffe. He entirely rocked.

While no air date has yet been announced for this appearance, please do keep close to TLC for all the latest. Readers will also recall that Stephen Fry narrates the UK editions of the Harry Potter audiobooks.

Never heard of the show before, but it sounds interesting. I’m only insulted by the fact that we have to wait until Christmas to see it. >_<

Brilliant!
I got into QI when I was in London last year, and was thrilled when I found out ABC airs it here in Australia only a week or two later.
Bit unsure about airing in Christmas though… Its a show that relies heavily on news and current affairs.

i saw the 2010 Xmas QI last Friday – Dan was wizard :) He really is quite a rounded and intelligent guy and was excellent – it will be well worth seeing the broadcast program in 6 months time

So when do we get to see it on this side of the pond (USA)??
Sounds like it was quite interesting! And how did “timuk” get to see it on June 4th if it is not being broadcast until Christmas?

Although the program will not be broadcast until xmas 2010 it was recorded last week in front of a studio audience and i was lucky enough to be in the audience (front row too!)

Wow … I love QI and Stephen Fry. Alas I have only seen A and B, although the C Series has been ordered and, hopefully the DVD will arrive soon. I dont know what letter Dan’s episode will be in but, I’m hoping Leaky Galleries will get the video when it airs because, it will be forever until it’s released on DVD
