Harry Potter Actors Begin to Wrap Production on "Deathly Hallows"
June 01, 2010, 04:12 PM
Over the past few days, a number of actors have let the world know via their Twitter accounts that they are wrapping their filming for the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" production. Most recently, actor Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) tweeted that today may be his last day of filming, saying: "So I think today is my last day filming Harry Potter.... God...10 years of my life may well be over come Midnight tonight...!" He went on to note that his last day of production consisted of filming an exterior scene, which called for rain. Also, actor Warwick Davis is today filming his last scenes for his role as Professor Flitwick, but, as he notes here, will continue over the next week to film as Griphook.
So sad, I can’t believe it’s nearly over already!
Only 170 days left to part 1 :D
oh its so sad to see it over
I have one word and an action
IT WILL NEVER BE OVER! :) harry potter fan fo’ lifeeee.
this is just one chapter closing. think of all the other stuff we’ve got. like…HELLO! the PARK! (which will last years n years n years!) :D
How wonderful! If the filming is nearly over, that should mean the films will come out on schedule, with plenty of time to do the final cutting and editing! This is good, people, not heartbreaking! It may be over for the actors, but not for us!
It is sort of sad that filming is coming to an end, but it isn’t over and I don’t know that it ever will be over.
Oh, wow. 10 years. It’s all coming to a close, way too quickly… :’-(
No, no, no! Don’t end!!!!
Please don’t end, please don’t! Even if Harry Potter does end, it will always remain in our hearts forever. It will be known as the best selling book of the century in the next decade.
It upsets me so that filming is ending! I wish everyone the best of luck as they advance in their careers.
As the old saying goes, “All good things must come to an end.” But this is only the ending of the first movie version. If Harry Potter is truly great literature, as so many of us have contended, then it will live on into the foreseeable future. One can well imagine that within most of our lifetimes, well, most of yours at least since I’m kinda of old, that there will be another movie series of HP. Hopefully they will make a better casting choice for Dumbledore… :)
Yes “All good things do come to an end”… well said @vespasian68967. I am of course sad and shocked that there will be no more filming but they still have 2 more years of promotion to do for them. And truth be told, Harry will never truly end. :)
tear … It feels like you are loosing a friend …
