I’ve promised myself that I’m gonna wait until ALL of the movies come out on DVD and get the directors cut/extended edition — all the extras. They are making it suuuuuuper hard for me not to, though!!!! :)

can anyone who has the ultimate editions of the first two movies tell me if the extended version is the same as watching the deleted scenes put back in when ABC Family does a Harry Potter weekend?

It really sucks that the UK doesn’t get these. For anyonme in the UK who wants the Blu-Rays…the Canadian ones are Region-free so they’ll play on a Blu-Ray player over here.

Note: Most if nto all Blu-Ray titles are Region-Free and can be played on any PS3, Blu-Ray player, laptop, or PC with Blu-Ray capabilities anywhere in the world. This incldes the German,French and US Vers but only on Bluray!

Just thought you all should know that the ultimate editions of Prisoner of Azkiban & the Goblet of Fire will not have an extended cut of the movie included even though they do exist.

The uptimate editions are available in Region 2 format if you order from or The main language will be in French or German but there is an english language option on all four sets. I have the first two in french and have ordered the second two in german because dont seem to have POA and GOF yet the release for both according to is the 14th of november. Ideally i would have liked the whole set in french as i have francophone nephews and harry potter is cool in french (Poudlard, Severus Rogue, Tom Elvis Jedusor ect) but as they dont advertise yet, even though the german sister site does, i expect our french, belgian and swiss fellow fans will have to wait a bit longer, as will uk and irish fans. I cant uderstand why dont list them either since the french and german sites do. However you can order from other amazon sites if you are a customer of amazon UK. I have also seen italian language editions on ebay. I hope this info is usefull for european fans

I hope this
