Five Nominations for "Half-Blood Prince" Film and Actors at 2010 MTV Movie Awards

As per his tweet, Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) is up to be nominated in the MTV Movie Awards for Best Villain; you can vote for him at this link.  The young actor joins his co-stars Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) who have been nominated in the Best Male Performance and Best Female Performance categories, respectively.  Additionally,  Mr. Radcliffe was nominated once again, this time in the Global Superstar category, while the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" film has been nominated with such films as "(500) Days of Summer," "Alice in Wonderland," "Avatar," "Up," and "The Hurt Locker" for the Best Movie prize.

The 2010 MTV Movie Awards are set to be presented on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 9pm EST on the cable network.

Isn’t it odd that 2009 AND 2010 films are competing against each other? Kind of unfair, imho.

So wonderful to see HBP nominated for so much. I couldn’t agree more Tom Felton and Emma Watson were wonderful! I’m voting now!!

well, I tried to get HBP nominated for the WTF moment — the ring of fire in the cave scene — but when I went back to that category, it didn’t show up. GUess a scene has to get multiple nominations to be eligible (doh, makes sense I suppose).

I really hope that Emma wins as she is much deserving of the award.
