Tom Felton Cast in The Apparition Film

February 08, 2010, 02:42 PM has a short report online which relates that actor Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) has been cast in a new film entitled The Apparition.  The site reports that has confirmed that the young actor will be portraying the character of "Patrick" in the upcoming Joel Silver, Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman produced film. is also confirming the news, saying, "Shooting will take place in Germany for the next few weeks and then will move to Los Angeles," and goes on to note:

The film, directed by Todd Lincoln and based on his own screenplay, is “inspired by true events” and “centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence that’s unleashed during a college experiment.”

I’m glad to see Tom continuing on in other movies… he’s such a great actor! Would love to see him in different roles. :)

I love Tom Felton. I just hope he is making good choices in his post-Potter roles. Go, Tom!

I think that would be really nice to see Tom Felton and Ashley Greene together in a movie. Let’s hope that this will stop the hatre between Harry Potter fans and Twilight fans because I think it has gone too far and is ridiculous!!!

Yeah I also saw the title and I thought, ooh Apparition. lol
The movie sounds interesting and, personally I like stories that are inspired by a true story.

I can’t wait till the movie comes out! It will be great for a change to watch a movie where he doesn’t have a palish blonde hair and isn’t a villian.
