Actors Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) are among the forty top earners in Hollywood in 2009, according to a new list published by Vanity Fair.  Miss Watson, ranked in 14th place, is the top female earner on the list, as well as also the youngest person to be included, says an article in the Telegraph.  Harry Potter costars Dan Radcliffe, who is the highest paid actor, and Rupert Grint also made the list in 6th and 14th place, respectively.  The trio, who are next slated to star together in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts One & Two," join such other big Hollywood names as director James Cameron, actor Ben Stiller, producer J. J. Abrams, and actor  Denzel Washington on the Vanity Fair list.

:) That’s awesome! They definitely deserved all this money! But why Emma didn’t receive anything from her Burberry campaign??? She is working for free? :)

I don´t believe these numbers at all. They are guesswork, partly educated guessing, but that´s it. And EW “reportedly” earned £600.000 for the first Burberry campaign in 09 and Vanity Fair completely ignores that.

Then: filming two movies back-to-back usually means one fee for everybody. Not that I think that Emma ist´t worth it, but did Warner really suddenly pay her $30m after all the $4m per film (an less on 1 and 2) ?

An impressive list for the three of them to be on at such a young age. Hopefully they have invested their money wisely & they are set for life.

Kudos to Emma for topping the Female list. We need more women earning as much money as the men. But those guys deserve it. That total doesn’t even include what they got for their projects outside of Potter.
