"Tangled" Bumps "Deathly Hallows: Part 1" Out of the No. 1 Spot at the US Box Office

Disney's newest film "Tangled" has taken the number one spot in the US box office, moving "Deathly Hallows: Part 1" to the number two spot for the first time since its release. This weekend, "Deathly Hallows: Part 1" made $16.7 million next to the $21.5 million that "Tangled" earned.
However, "Deathly Hallows: Part 1" still remains the number one film in the international box office, making $54.4 million this weekend. Thus far the film's overseas earnings are $469.1 million, and the domestic earnings are $244.2 million.

let’s some objetives lads tangled is a kids story AAA clasification DH its PG13 surely there are more kids than teen from the P generation its ok.
Harry will be seeing for a long long time. tangled will be forget in three or four weeks…the bests wil be the better one as usual.

As much as i like Harry, this insane hatred towards another good film just because it beat DH in the box office is annoying.

@brightside: totally agree. we should not turn into haters. HP cannot dominate all the time.
though personally, i can understand how tangled can sell many tickets – it’s demographics is broader. and not many kids are allowed to go to the movies without their parents anyway. :-)

the movies can’t be judged on the basis of the box-office collection…“tangled” may be a good movie but it’s more of a comic venture as i have seen in the reviews…hp series is more of a matured one and its only for them who have been following it…

The only reason Tangled is #1 right now is because Disney isn’t doing any more movies with Pixar. Tangled was the last one ever. Besides, I’ve seen DH 3 times already; nothing but that could’ve knocked it out of #1. I’ve heard Tangled is kind of good, although I haven’t seen it yet, but Disney and Pixar are probably doing everything they can to go out with a bang. Don’t worry; we’ll definitely be #1 with DH part 2! : )

It is a good picture of Ron. I saw Tangled, but didn’t think it met DH1’s awesomeness.
