"Deathly Hallows" Ranks High in Twitter's Year in Review

The social media site Twitter has released their Year in Review: Top Twitter Trends with several categories highlighting 2010's most talked about subjects.

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" made it on two lists, including Overall Top Trends. It ranked number 9 out of 10, just after Justin Bieber (#8) and before Pulpo Paul (#10, the octopus of World Cup fame).

"Deathly Hallows" also ranked high in the Movies category coming in at number 2, just after "Inception."

Twitter's other top trending categories included News Events, People, Television, and Sports. Their complete rundown of the past year can be seen at this site.

Anyway, congrats i guess, not too much of a prize although it’s good to know that Harry is still a “trend”. I guess… xD

I lose faith in the world when I see that people speak more about Justin Bieber than Harry Potter. I just need to calm down and remember that he will be forgotten by 2012 and Harry Potter will live forever.

If Justin Beiber can beat Harry Potter, I think this world has gone to the dogs. But it says for Overall Trends, so its not like Justin is better than HP

Oh, I love that Joannie Rochette made the “People” list. I thought she might have only been big in Canada. And of course, I’m thrilled about Harry Potter’s place. I still don’t know why people think Inception is all that. Didn’t I see that basic movie at least twice already? Meh, oh well!
