The "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" has taken the top spot at the box office this weekend, for the latest film grossed a total of $125.1 million in its first three days of release. The AP reports that studio estimates put the film's international weekend gross at $205 million, bringing the worldwide estimated box office receipts at $330.1 million. Quoteage:
In terms of domestic revenue, "Deathly Hallows: Part 1" came in ahead of the series' best previous debut of $102.7 million for 2005's "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire."
But factoring in today's higher admission prices, the latest movie had roughly the same size audience as the franchise's best previous draws — "Goblet of Fire" and 2001's "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," which launched the series. "Deathly Hallows" and those two earlier movies each sold around 16 million tickets in their first weekend.
Overseas markets for "Deathly Hallows" were led by a $28 million opening in Great Britain, $21.8 million in Germany, $14.8 million in Australia, $14 million in Japan and $12.3 million in Russia.

Great movie!!! Good to know that my husband and I are part of the great opening weekend.
Not to impressed with ron’s line “only 3 more to go” horcruxes
The last movie and this one showed the slughorn and riddle mentioning 7 horcruxes.
List of destroyed ones
1. riddle’s diary
2. the ring
3. the locket
Remaining ones
4. hufflepuff’s cup
5. ravenclaw’s diadem
6. nagini
7. harry potter
The last bit of soul in voldemort
Should ron’s line be “only 4 to go”?
What horcruxes are they including in part 2 of the deathly hallows? Anyone know yet? I am worried the makers of the film will ruin it for us.
Oh yes and i am greatly disturbed why would a wizard or a witch be burried in a church grave yard? Did lilly and james attend church service there regularly?

Chris, they don’t know that Harry is a horcrux.

They probably did, Chris. I don’t see why they wouldn’t.
slughorn said isn’t it bad enough to muder a person once let alone split the soul into 7 pieces. Ron was wrong 7 minus the 3 destroyed that leaves 4. Not 3 more to go.
Which are they including in the next movie by the way?

I would imagine Ravenclaw’s diadem, nagini, and Hufflepuff’s cup will all be there. I remember seeing the flames ripping through the room of requirement in one of the commercials. They showed Bellatrix’s hair floating down toward Hermione, so they will go to get the cup. We shall see how it plays out though.
@chris_anderson; Spoilers – They filmed a scene of Ron and Hermione in the Chamber of Secrets where they destroy the cup horcrux with a basilisk tooth. Clips of the diadem being burnt by fiendfire are already online, and Neville chopping off Nagini’s head was also filmed. That takes care of the last 3 horcruxes. A horcrux is not a piece of soul. There remains a remnant of soul within Voldemort, and the piece of Voldemort’s soul within Harry. A horcrux is a specially chosen container of a piece of soul that requires a nasty series of spells to create. So, there are 3 horcruxes and 2 bits of Voldemort soul left to kill off (one in Voldemort and one in Harry). Harry and Voldemort are both oblivious to the fact Harry has a part of Voldemort’s soul within him. Rowling was clear in several interviews: Harry is not a Horcrux.
As for Harry’s parents being buried in the graveyard, that is taken from the book. Rowling does not force-feed her Christian beliefs on readers, but it’s clear from the passage on the Potters’ gravestones that they, or whoever buried them, were familiar with scripture.
