It has been a wild, clip-filled lead up to the theatrical release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," but it would not be complete without a Vlogbrothers song capturing our feelings before the midnight release of this, the second to the last Potter film. Hank Green of the Vlogbrothers does not disappoint! Watch This is Not Harry Potter below:
This video also launches (a day early) Leaky's newest feature Fun Fridays, where we will highlight a new, cool, funny, or interesting thing created created by the Harry Potter fan community. This could be anything from a funny spoof on YouTube, a particulary clever cartoon, or something awesome created by our community. If you come across something that fits that description, email us at fun@leakynews.com and it may end up on a Fun Friday soon!
I came home from the midnight release emotionally worn out (FABULOUSMOVIE!!!! No spoilers, but just… WOW), and a bit depressed because after all the lead up, it’s over. Part one is finally here and we only have one more to look forward to (new countdown clock, please! LOL), but this was the PERFECT thing to cheer the evening right up, the perfect song to come home to after the film. Thanks, Hank! And Leaky!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw the midnight premiere yesterday!!! AWESOMEAWESOMEMOVIE!!!! MY FAV…don’t want to spoil it though but BOY was that ever entertaining!! Hoever….The thing I hate about the movie is that it ends half-way through the full story…….and I was like along with everyone else when they saw the end credits…NOOOO!!!!! so its cruel to have to wait 8 months for the second half…but it will be totally worth it…I’d give the movie 4.5 stars out of five and think this may be tied with Philosopher’s Stone for my all-time fav Potter movie…..( i posted this hear b/c there is no where else yet…..)
A grim smile twisted his lopsided mouth. "Oh if there's one thing I hate," he muttered, more to himself than to Harry, and his magical eye was fixed on the left-hand corner of the map, "it's a Death Eater who walked free..."
If you look closely at the book that he is rubbing the pages together it’s the hunger games. Also love the twilight disses
