Daniel Radcliffe has spoken to a Scottish newspaper about filming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" in the recent snowy weather. Mr. Radcliffe, speaking to the Sunday Mail, describes the camping scenes filmed by Loch Etive in Scotland as "magic." He goes on to say, "[the] mountains up there looked kind of blue and the weather was great." Talking about the various filming locations used for the first part of the seventh film, Mr. Radcliffe comments that it is a "road movie [...] and it's going to look very different."

The paper also spoke to producer David Barron about his decision to not write snow scenes into the plot of "Deathly Hallows." Instead the producer says that they chose to return to Leavesden Studios and film indoor scenes on the Great Hall set.

I know what you mean, YodatheHobbit. People overreact at the slightest bit of news that doesn’t fit with their vision of the story. It’s a bit irritating, to say the least.

But on a side note, part 1 is going to be epically awesome in a very different way from what we’ve seen til now. Can’t wait!

What the article means is they won’t write new scenes to film in the snow that has been falling these days in the UK. That doesn’t mean there won’t be scenes with snow, they film them on set with fake snow.
I wish there would be more interviews like this. It’s nice to read interviews with the other actors, but the ones who are really there everyday are Dan and people like David, so they know more things, it’s more interesting to read.

Apart from all the snow-discussion – Scotland is a great and beautiful place. I recommend a trip there to everyone, not only the Harry Potter fans.
