Photos of Hogwarts Express Filming for Deathly Hallows

Location filming recently took place in Scotland involving the Hogwarts Express train for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. A freelance photographer has now posted photos on his public flickr, here or here in our image galleries of the filming where a camera was attached to a helicopter to get the overhead shots; others show the fabled train at Rannoch Station near Loch Rannoch, Scotland. Please note: no cast members were present at this filming.

Either thats part of the epilouge or they’re showing luna and Neville and all that on the train so the exterior has been shot.

I really hope there won’t be an epilogue in the film… It would be so embarrassing to see the trio aged with make-up – and being parents!

WOW!!! I heard in an interview that they’re going to film a bit on the Hogwarts express, for the first half, while Harry, Ron and Hermione are on the run.

We hear of Death Eaters pulling muggle-borns off the train. There’s likely a shot of it heading to Hogwarts. Though I also like the idea of seeing the train well on its way to the school with James, Albus and Rose on it

Cool pics, but when would they use it until the Epilogue? Unless there using it to show Neville, Ginny, and Luna on it, but that’s not really important to the film. Whatever. I wish it would come out sooner, because we still have to wait over one year just for Part One. But i think it will be worth it

Third possibility……the first of September, when the TRIO is at Grimmauld Place and they are sort of dreaming, how the others get to Kings Cross, leave the train…But there should be so much material left over from the other films that they could have easily used that.
Anyway, I m not a fan of “new invented” scenes (exception: babbling babboons and Krum "more the physical guy, and of course Luna s dangling shoeas and…)
but maybe they show how the younger students are brought there….
