A minor update today regarding Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Widely expected and previously reported, the Dursleys will indeed seen in the final films with the agents for Harry Melling recently updating his page with word that he will reprise his role once again as Dudley Dursley for Deathly Hallows. This of course follows previous confirmation from Richard Griffiths last year that he would be back as Uncle Vernon, with Fiona Shaw also expected to return as Aunt Petunia.

Yay finally its been too long. I hope they have the scene where Dudley is sad that he might never see Harry again.

I am happy to hear that the Dursleys will be in DH. I think it would detract from the film series if we were not able to see the closure of that chapter for Harry.

Yes! Dursleys in DH! I was afraid they’d be cut out for good, while even the movie audience needs some closure with their part of the plot! so that means… the whole of The Seven Potters is in there! Yay!

They really are going all out for this movie! I think this will be the best adaptation so far! I’m so happy they’re keeping the Dursley’s this time!

This is good news … the Dursleys have awesome scenes that alas all too often get left out of the movies. Harry Melling is just great as Dudders. With the other Seven Potters scenes that have been filmed it seems as though we’re going to be seeing a lot of the escape from Privet Drive :)

Guess That Book

Harry was not aware of releasing George, all he knew was that a second later both of them were sprinting at Malfoy. He had completely forgotten the fact that all the teachers were watching: All he wanted to do was cause Malfoy as much pain as possible.
