A charity screening of the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film benefiting the Urban Prep Charter Academy for Young Men is set to take place the evening of July 15th in Chicago, Illinois.  This event will be in support of the Englewood Campus of Chicago's only all-boys charter public high school, which aims to "provide a comprehensive, high-quality college-preparatory education to young men that results in graduates succeeding in college."  Taking place at the AMC River East theater, the screening of the sixth Potter film will begin at 6:00pm, with a private reception, complete with "complimentary wine and a buffet of appetizers and desserts," taking place immediately after the film.  Tickets for this charity event are $77.00 and are available by calling (312) 276-0259 or by visiting this link.

This event is slated to be hosted by "more than 40 Chicago area media, civic, education and business leaders," including Chicago Sun Times columnist Richard Roeper.  Donations are also accepted, and can be given by following the directions at the bottom of this page.  All proceeds from this event will benefit Chicago’s only all-boys charter public high school Urban Prep Charter Academy for Young Men – Englewood Campus.

Complete details about this event are available right here.

Many thanks, Malorie.

Just occurred to me – do you think Prof. Slughorn will call Ron Rupert in the movie?
