Great news! Ollivander is a strange wizard, but a great wandmaker!

I’m so glad he will be back! I have often wondered if it would be him, or another actor.

Brilliant! He is one of my favourite actors and I look forward to his rendering of Ollivander as a prisoner. Evanna Lynch will have a treat working with him.

So so happy John Hurt is coming back, I always felt like he was one of the unsung heroes of the cast. He was beyond perfect as Ollivander and brilliantly set up the mysterious ohh-same-wands-and-other-terribly-great-curious-things intrigue in the first one.
Plus: “The best rain dance in the world is [making] a movie when they want it to be warm and hot,” he said…. Amen John Hurt, I’ve felt that

John Hurt is an awesome actor, and will be able to play Ollivander very well. I love the actors in these movies. They have all been amazingly well chosen.
