JK Rowling and the Magic Flying Piggy Bank for Charity

J.K. Rowling contributed to a charity fundraiser auction that took place over the weekend in London that involved piggy banks. In writing that would no doubt make the Weasley Wheezes proud, Jo contributed a specially designed piggy bank, and The Daily Mail reports " etched a special message  -  'Magic pigs can fly'  -  on the side of hers." This auction was in benefit of PiggyBankKids, a charity founded by the wife of the UK Prime Minister after the death of their premature child to "seek solutions to pregnancy difficulties and save newborn lives." We hope to have photos from the event, more when can.

This is so sweet! I love that Jo spends so much of her time helping out these charities. It warms my heart every time I see a new post about it. =]

Wish she would come here.
Although, I’m guessing every person (young or old) wishes she’d come to their country.
I’ll cross my fingers. :)

I’m sure she remembers her time of need with every contribution she makes to a charity. I am also sure that she is grateful that she is able to make every contribution that she can.
