Possible New Sets Under Construction for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

London Taxi Tour has now posted new photos of what they say are the beginning of new sets for use in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The report says that the "Harry Potter film location crew have returned ot Bracknell." Noting the photos were taken in Swinley Forest, the report also says the crews will be there for two months preparing for filming on the final installment in the Harry Potter series." Please note: The report does not state what scene this is for, nor are there signs indicating this is specifically for DH.

Please note: While we at TLC think this could possibly be for scenes involving Malfoy Manor as the adult actors are set to begin filming this summer, it is also very possible this is for scenes involving the flight on the Dragon, more camping and the Silver Doe, or even parts of the battle of Hogwarts; we simply do NOT know, and will update with more when we can.  Also we've received several reports that more location filming may take place again in Burnham Beeches in the coming weeks as well, although this is very much unconfirmed. Production on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow is slated to continue the entire rest of the year as well as into the early months of next year, with part one due in theaters November, 2010.

Thanks much to LondonTaxiTour.com and SS!

Wow…that’s such a beautiful forrest! I wonder if they’re going to film all of the DH forrest scenes there or just one? Two Months is a long time and it kind of looks like they’re building the Shrieking Shack or something much bigger than just a tent for a camping scene. Either way…it’s so exciting!!!!

I thought they’d use the same forest they always had for the hogwarts dark forest. Ah well i hope whatever they’re doing it looks gooood!

I wonder what they will use this forest for! Regardless of its purpose in being used, one can safely say that it is a gorgeous location. They made a good choice in using it! I cannot wait for more word to come out about this!

Does anyone know: did they use a different location outside the studios to film the Forbidden Forest scenes in the past?? I always thought they had constructed some of the forest because the trees and roots looked a little on the… artificial side.

Hopefully they use different forests for… well, the different forest scenes. :) I believe the Forbidden Forest was described as darker, thicker, and larger than say the Forest of Dean.
