Relic Me This

Day Two of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows location filming is underway currently in Wales, and we will be bringing you reports as soon as we can. Yesterday TLC brought you the first report and photos from Shell Cottage filming, and among the things noted was the large presence of paparazzi, which is making things difficult for fans to see all the action, and security is now strong in the area. However, if there is a silver lining to be had, the press does have those large cameras capable of getting large close up photos. In case you missed it yesterday, along with ones of the cast, two photos of note were obtained showing some interesting relics or items from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:
Griphook and the Sword of Gryffindor
Harry and the Mirror shard (from Sirius)
TLC has crews on the scene for Day Two, and we will be bringing you more reports today, stay tuned! Be sure to check out our extensive collection of Day One photos from location filming at Shell Cottage built on Freshwater Beach, Pembrokeshire, Wales, here in our image galleries.
God, first I thought that was a stick in Griphook’s hand XD Good pics by the way, it’s fun to see how they shoot the film. Does anyone know whether Fleur would be in the DH movie or not? Just because it doesn’t look like it…
It is SO cool that we’ve got pictures already. It’s so exciting! The pics of the shell cottage is cool. I was like, I wanna live in the shell cottage, man!
They really shouldn’t have any problem at all adding the mirror into the storyline because we know that Mundungus has been cast and he was responsible for all of Sirius’s valuables, so I imagine he gives it to them.. or he at least knows where it is. Or perhaps easier yet… they simply find the mirror at Grimmauld Place!
The pics look great! The Sword of Gryffindor looks a little… small?… (even in proportion to Griphook!!)
So is Harry having a sort of “I saw Dumbledore’s eye!” freak out moment with the mirror? I remember him seeing Aberforth’s eye in the basement at Malfoy Manor but I don’t remember the mirror being mentioned again until they’re in the Hog’s Head with Aberforth. Great photos though, I can’t wait, these two films really look like they are going to be the most faithful.
