Variety: Ralph Fiennes to Begin Deathly Hallows Production "In the Fall"

Another update tonight regarding the possible filming schedule for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, this regarding actor Ralph Fiennes. Variety reports tonight the actor, who is reportedly in advanced negotiations to appear in the remake of "Clash of the Titans," is trying to work his schedule as "the thesp wants to squeeze in all these commitments before returning to his role as uber-villain Voldemort in the final Harry Potter installment, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II," which begins production in the fall."

Readers will remember too that in late December of last year we heard from actor Alan Rickman who mentioned working with Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort) for those pivotal and dramatic scenes at the end of Deathly Hallows, noting filming for those scenes would take place later this year.  As we reported previously too, Ralph Fiennes also spoke several times last year on his character of Voldemort; worth a re-read are his comments on the psychology of Voldemort.

In one last fun related note, it seems that the Dark Lord will be making an appearance with Professor Trelawney of sorts as Variety also reports that Ralph Fiennes "will also take on an uncredited cameo in Working Title's sequel to 2005 hit "Nanny McPhee," in which Emma Thompson will reprise her role as a magical governess."

If they do split it at the silver doe, he has to be in part 1, like some of you mentioned, at least the godric’s hollow scene….. at least…. they are filming both at the same time so maybe he will just film the small part at ms bagshots house , and the scenes of him searching for the elder wand…and the battle of little whinging….omg, thats the first part of pt1…..he flys, they have to show him flying ><

Interesting. Maybe they are filming all his appearances at one time. It seems funny talking about DH part 2 when we haven’t seen HBP yet.

i would think they are, and yes i wish we had some idea of what to complain about in HBP so we can know sort of what to expect in DH, but we do have the 5 movies that butchered the books before hand, (cough) POA (cough) ….poor poor winky….

I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT HE WILL WORK IT OUT AS HE IS A GREAT ACTOR AND IS THE ONLY VOLTY WE KNOW HE WILL BE GREAT IN THE REMAKE OF" CLASH OF THE TITANS." I DOTN’ THINK THEY WILL DO GODRIC’S HOLLOW THERE ARE SO MANY PARTS IN THE BOOK EVEN WITH TWO MOVIES IT WILL BE HARD TO PUT EVERYTHING IN THEM AS IT IS.

So what if they’re filming Part II in the fall? They may shoot his Part I scenes then as well. Remember, they’re only technically filming one movie. They can go back and shoot Part I scenes whenever they want to.

Of course he will be in part 1, there is no way to get around that. We haven’t even seen the 6th movie, and the last 2 parts are going to be filmed soon. I don’t want it to end.

I thought they were filming both parts at the same time? I’m looking forward to the Nanny McPhee sequel as well.

They could be filming anything. Voldemort is in book 7 ALOT! But I’m willing to bet one of the opening sequences like the one with the muggle studies teacher (if it’s in there) and the Seven Potters will be filmed then!! Yay! So Exciting!!!
