There's No Business Like Snow Business for Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida

In perhaps a fun bit of Magic, or Muggle might at work, early concept art for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park is proving to become reality. The Orlando Sentinel reports today that just as we saw in this artwork for the Hogsmeade village portion of the theme park currently under construction in sunny Florida, a company has been hired to make the village a snow covered site. The paper states that:

Universal has signed a special-effects contract with SnowMasters Evaporative Snow Systems Inc. The Anderson, Ala.-based company builds fake snow-making machines and offers everything from blowing snow to ground blankets to faux icicles.

No word if Snowball fights will be available ;)  Construction on The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park attraction at Universal Orlando continues, with the park set to open sometime in 2010.

Always sometime in 2010. Makes it a little hard to make plans to attend together.

Good Lord! Snow in the sunshine state… It will be very cool but is it also guna be a bit – wasteful? I mean it’s fun and all and God KNOWS I’m also about the fun but…

Is it guna be like chemical or water based Snow? Where is going to be and how is it going to effect the local enviroment?

This is going to be fantastic. I cannot wait to see what kind of snow they create for the final theme park.

When I was little and I went to universal studios at Christmas time they made it snow. It was AWESOME! Note: universal studios snow flakes taste like soap, just thought you should know that.

Guess That Book

"We're not doing anything new?" said Zacharias Smith, in a disgruntled whisper loud enough to carry through the room. "If I'd known that, I wouldn't have come..."[br]"We're all really sorry Harry didn't tell you, then," said Fred loudly.
