I See Sea Shells on Shell Cottage (Updated)

As a follow now to the first photos TLC first brought you several days ago of Shell Cottage currently under construction for use in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, two new photos are now online. The public group for the Pembroke area of Wales on Flickr now has two new photos of the ongoing work, including one of a nearly completed roof of the cottage, made entirely of sea shells, here. UPDATE: Thanks to Chris and Pete for mailing in some wonderful new photos, taken yesterday at the location in Wales, which you can see here in our galleries.

Reminder: Location filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will take place on Freshwater Beach in Pembrokeshire National Park area of Wales May 11 through the 15th. TLC hopes to have a crew there to cover all the filming, however if you are in the area, please send in your reports, photos, and videos to staff@the-leaky-cauldron.org.

I am confused. I thought they were writing out Bill and Fleur altogether? I was angry when I found this out because there are major plot points in Deathly Hallows that take place at Bill’s house. Now they are making the cottage. Does anyone know what the heck is going on? Are they going to rush through that story line with a truncated scene in the beginning of #7? Thanks for any help on this.

i really do not like it.
its not how i imagined it to be at all.
i imagined the walls of the house to be made of pebbles and shells and look all crooked, rounded and low ceilinged.
not just a house with shells intead of roof tiles.
i suppose it’s just the roof that bothers me.

ah well.
i’m sure it will grow on me eventually.

oh yeah!
i just read your comment Brosia23 and now i’m really confused also.
why do they have the cottage if bill and fleur have been written out?
unless they’ve changed who the cottage belongs to?
