Fans in Australia will be able to watch all the Harry Potter films on the big screen again as part of the build up to the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Longtime TLC reader Donna let us know that starting June 11, Hoyts movie theaters will be screening Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. This will be followed with re-releases of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on June 18, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on June 25, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire starts July 2, with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix due to screen July 9th. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will then open in Australia on July 15.

Thanks Donna!

thats interesting..but if they would re-release films in my country I wouldn’t gor.why? 1.I don’t have enough money. 2. I have all dvds. so whats the point in all that really? money money money…It would be ok re.release all HP films in 10 years or so…then I would definitely go.

What a fun idea! I know that the Star Wars franchise did a few showings like that during the time of the 3 prequel releases. The U.S. should consider following suit with Harry Potter.

That’s a nice idea :) But, they should really do a marathon type run, instead of spreading it out like that. That’s gonna cost a lot of money if you have to pay for each of the 6 movies individually instead of a combo price.
