Perhaps, Harry doesn’t KNOW how to actually play. Maybe he’s just polking at keys while trying to figure out a way get Slughorn to share that memory.
Or, maybe the Felix stuff got him thinking he can.
Or, maybe he taught himself Heart and Soul or Chopsticks whenever the Dursley’s left the house…
Anyway, I’m sure Harry’s not about to start playing some great piece.

Wow, I’m really hoping this is something more like Slughorn asking him to just go find the right key or something.. Proper stupid if he can suddenly just play piano.

Funny. I have two teen daughters and a piano, their female friends come in and walk right past it. The boys always seem to have to play around with the keys and only a few of them actually know how to play. Its funny, especially in light of this photo. I always thought there should be more music at Hogwarts. Ginny’s lullaby ha!

Maybe he’s just picking the keyboard, not playing at all maybe. Though it looks like he’s trying to produce some kind of sound. anyways- we shall know in three months!!!

Have you never had the urge to sit down at a piano just to press a few keys? I think its quite funny, it does look more like it could be at Hogwarts rather than when Harry first meets Slughorn. Perhaps it Slughorn’s idea of a detention “you will sit at that piano until you have learnt to play the entire score”!!!!!!
