The first photo of actor Dan Radcliffe filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is now available. UK tabloid The Mirror is running a photo (in print only at the moment) of Dan as Harry Potter, with the article noting "the mist thickens around wand-wielding Daniel Radcliffe in a forest scene." Thanks to Snitchseeker, we can now see a scan of the photo, here.

Filming began last month on the two parts for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, with Part One due in theaters November, 2010 and Part Two in July, 2011.

Thanks much to SS and Emma for emailing!

Wow, I’ve just seen the DH pics (lots of them)… and wow, Dan is looking goood! lol. He really looks older and bulkier and messier but still handsome. I agree that the scene may be the silver doe scene…

He looks really old like 30ish. Hmm. . . anyway, I agree with other posts that this is probably the Silver Doe scene.

His sweater is very large… but who cares? With an actor like Dan, you don’t even notice what he’s wearing.

Ooh, interesting! I wonder what scene this is, since he’s in the forest… I like his sweater, though, LOL.

It’s hilarious how people say “he looks like 21”, “he looks like 19”, “he looks like 30”… as if all 21 years old people look the same, or as if all people in their 30s would look the same… every person is different, it’s senseless to say some looks a certain age. I think he looks perfect for the character he is playing, Harry is not supposed to look like a kid anymore, he is supposed to look like a man, and the book says he looks as someone who has lived a hard life (I don’t remember the exact words), and people who are described like that usually are people who look older than their age because of the difficult life they have lived.

Guess That Book

Harry concentrated on not tripping over his feet. Parvati seemed to be enjoying herself; she was beaming around at everybody, steering Harry so forcefully that he felt as though he were a show dog she was putting through its paces.
