Winners of Chocolate Frog Contest Announced

As readers will remember, last month TLC launched a new contest which asked you to create a Chocolate Frog Card for one Neville Longbottom. After receiving scores of wonderful submissions, our Contest Crew has picked the winners, along with an honorable mention, for this contest. The winners for the Neville's Chocolate Frog Contest are as follows:

First Place: Luna5
Second Place: LumosShimmy
Third Place: Hydrart
Honorable Mention: Nargle-phish (picture) & A Chocolate Frog (text)

The first place winner of this contest gets a free wand care of Wizard Wood Wands.

I agree. Luna5, as well as everyone else, very well done. I don’t know if LumosShimmy was trying to make Neville black or not, but if so, then well done for being brave with the change, even if it’s slightly noncannon.

In Luna5’s, he certainly looks worldlier (if that’s a word). Of course, given that he was an auror before he became a professor, that makes sense. I certainly liked reading everyone’s back of the card and their thoughts of what happened to him afterwards. :)

As to him looking like a vampire in the first one, that must mean he died at some point, because we all know that when a character dies in Harry Potter, they come back as an attractive vampire. Just look at Cedric!

Hooray Neville Cullen!!
