WB has officially posted the list of international release dates for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. As seen here via the film's website, many countries such as France, Denmark, Italy, and Egypt will see the movie first on July 15th, with those of us here in the US and UK to see the movie on July 17, 2009.

Hm, I would be mad, excluding the fact that we have been waiting for almost 300 days, so what difference does another 2 days make?

why do the UK and US have to wait longer to see the movie if it is in English?
Can’t wait for the midnight showing, here in the states it’s only 4 days after my birthday
this may be based on time zones and some countries need translations which takes more time and actors :) thus the time difference of release dates
