First Posters for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Released

The first posters posters for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince have now been officially released. The first one (courtesy Yahoo) shows a closeup of Harry, with Dumbledore reflected in his glasses.  A second one from MSN, seen here in our galleries,  shows more of Harry, pointing his wand (and sporting a most curious shirt). The third new poster, here in our galleries as well, features Professor Dumbledore turning to look at something, and is without his hat.

Anyone else notice that both of Dumbledore’s hands are just fine? Also, what about the other characters? I know HBP is about Dumbledore and Harry and their journey together, but it is also about the development of relationships (romantic and otherwise) among the others!

I like the one with the glasses, but I hate the angle of the shots. Where is DD’s blackend hand? They already took out his funeral, the least they could do blackened hand properly.

i really like the close up one of Harry. Did anyone notice that Dumbledore’s hand isn’t dead in the last one?

OMG!!!!!! It’s about time. These are AMAZING pictures!!!! And there’s nothing on his shirt but a pocket and some buttons. It’s just the way it’s wrinkled like that which makes it look funny.

They probably didn’t show the hand like that so they wouldn’t give anything away to the people who don’t read the books.

Oh I really love the poster with Dumbledore reflected in Harry’s glasses. What a subtle but visually appealing hint of his fate in the movie.

Maybe I’m blind—What’s curious about the shirt?

I like these – especially the one with Harry’s glasses reflecting DD. I especially like the HP6 title for some bizarre reason. Maybe they’ll come out with some more that have Draco and Snape on them – like last time, the good guys and the bad guys.
