J.K. Rowling to Receive French Legion of Honor Award Tomorrow

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling will be receiving one of the highest honors from France, it was announced today. The office of Nicolas Sarkozy, President of France, has announced they will be presenting JKR with "les insignes de Chevalier de l’ordre de la Légion d’honneur" (the Legion of Honor) tomorrow, February 3 at the Palace Elysee in Paris France. Congratulations Jo!

We are working to learn more about this and will update when we can.

It breaks my heart to imagine Jo with this dwarf of Sarkozy. But I guess I’ll try to see her tomorrow at the Palace Elysée and take some pictures !

About jessh324’s comment : you don’t have to be french to receive it . For instance, Walt Disney received it!
I feel that they give it pretty easily but (maybe being a harry potter fan) I think that Jo deserves it. ^^
And I’m with you on that one, ‘french soup’ ! XD

Anyway I totally agree with ‘french soup’, Sarko and JK in the same room…arg!
She’s so amazing and he is so…him!
To quote a really great Wrock Band (The Basilisk in Your Pasta)
