Filming Begins Tomorrow on Deathly Hallows for Emma Watson

Thanks to her official website, we now know that actress Emma Watson will begin filming her role as Hermione Granger for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows tomorrow, Thursday, February 19, 2009.
The final novel in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released as a two part film: Part One is due November 19, 2010, and part two in May, 2011.
Ooh goodie! I’m very excited! Let’s just keep in mind, we still have a year of filming ahead of us, plus the HP theme park to look forward to. Let’s not get too upset yet, we still have things to enjoy for the future. :)
Oh yes! But its sort of sad, in a way, since this will almost be the end of filming harry potter movies…FOREVER! sigh its sortof a bittersweet moment. and like “Chad” said, “ahhhhh the beginning of the end has come…”
Yay! I wish all the cast and crew the best with this production — of course we’re all hoping these are going to be the best movies yet!
The November/May release is a bit confusing to me though. Are the two DH movies really going to be marketed as completely separate films? I mean, will we see premieres, interviews, promotion etc. for both? Or just for the first one, in November, and then the 2nd will come out quietly? And will the DVD for the first one be released before the 2nd is even in theatres, or will they wait and release them together?
It’s a strange situation for sure. I’m interested to see how WB handles the promotion.
