Harry Potter Makes Empire's Review of the Decade Lists
MoviesWith 2010 nearly upon us, Empire Magazine has looked back at the past decade and listed a number of the biggest film related happenings in their Review of the Decade. The Harry Potter series made the list in a number of different categories. First, box office receipts are totaled for the profiled on the "10 Biggest Box Office Hits Of The Decade" list, which includes "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" at number four, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" at number six, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" at number seven, and "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" taking the ninth place on this list. Next, Dan Radcliffe was listed as one of the "People You'd Never Heard Of Before 2000" for his role as Harry Potter. In regards to his pre-Potter fame, the magazine notes:
In 1999 he was: Making a name for himself as the young David Copperfield in the Beeb's adaptation of the Dickens classic, and preparing to go to the theatre for a night out, where he would be spotted and identified as a potential Potter.

I am positively giddy to learn that Harry Potter is included so much in the box office totals. :P
