Potter Stars to Sign DVD on Dec 6

Update: The number of wristbands available has been reduced from 450 to 400; in addition the DVDs are not giveaways but much be purchased at the time of the signing. Only Blu-Ray editions purchased on site - not DVDs brought in by fans - may be signed. The actors will sign as many as possible in time allotted (there are no guarantees all 400 will be signed).

Harry Potter actors Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown), will appear at HMV on Oxford St in London on December 6, giving the first 400 fans who show up an early Christmas present: a chance for a signature on their Half-Blood Prince Blu-Ray DVD and a two-hour meet and greet. The stars will sign copies of the Blu-ray edition for two hours.

The disc will be made available to these fans a day before it is scheduled to release (Dec 7 in the UK, Dec 8 in the US). Access to the queue will be limited: Wristbands will be issued from 10 a.m. on the day of the event, from the store, on a first come first served basis. One wristband per person, no reservations.

If you mean HMV on Oxford Street in LONDON then you need to change the news item to say London.

Oxford is a city an hour’s journey away from London.

It is for occasions such as these that I ardently wish that I lived in England! Nothing would delight me more than being able to meet some members of the cast while obtaining the DVD.

I wish I was in London, but I’m pretty sure that I’ll have to wait for another occasion to plan a trip to Europe…it sounds like so much fun. For any one who is going, tell us Canadians how great it was!
