Doh! Dan Radcliffe Set to Dazzle in "Simpsons" Parody of "Twilight" Series
November 18, 2009, 11:59 AM
Here is a rather delicious bit news today, as Entertainment Weekly and MTV report that actor Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) will lend his voice for the hit animated series "The Simpson." In what is sure to be a sparkling performance ;) Dan will sport fangs of a sort for a parody episode based on the mega hit Twilight series where he will portray a character named Edmund (yes, really) "a boy vampire whom Lisa falls for. Unfortunately for the
Twilight-crossed lovers, Homer and Dracula -- Edmund's dear, old dad --
don't approve of the union, and they endeavor to put a stop to it." This episode will air next fall as part of the Simpson's " "Treehouse of Horror XXI" triptych, the series' yearly Halloween special."
No word if Werewolves or Bella will make an appearance ;0 Thanks so much Radcakes fan!
OMG I HAVE TO SEE THIS!! I love Simpsons, I LOVE Harry Potter (and Dan duh!) and, please don’t kill me, but I HATE Twilight! Ohh, this should be good! Any word on when it’s being released??
I’m not fan of the Simpson’s, I don’t find them very funny. But, I am a fan of Dan (oh that rhymes!) and Twilight, so I might actually watch this episode.
@alicia00 There is no Harry Potter in it. This is a Twilight parody. The ironic thing is that Dan is doing the voice for the vampire. That is a joke in itself. We have a small HP joke on another episode but that really isn’t newsworthy because it seems every show has a HP reference now.
@ owanalilypotter[ROAR] The Treehouse of Horror episode always airs around Halloween. Usually it is release the first Sunday of November but this year it was October 18. The sports schedule can affect it. Basically though, just watch The Simpsons Sunday nights at 8pm on FOX.
