AOL Moviefone has posted their latest list, this being “25 Under 25: Hollywood’s Hottest Stars.” Included on the list are Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory). Remarks on each of the three are as follows:
“Emma Watson. What She’s Done: As Hermione in five ‘Harry Potter’ pics, Watson has blossomed in front of eyes, from cute kid to- dare we say it- hot young adult.
What’s Next: She’ll voice Princess Pea in this winter’s ‘The Tale of Desperaux,’ then really break out of the ‘Potter’ mold in ‘09’s ‘Napoleon and Betsy.’ Of course she also has three more ‘Potter’ hits on the way.
Industry Buzz: “She is one of the brightest people I have ever met, with a razor-sharp mind,” says ‘Harry Potter’ producer David Heyman. “After seeing her work in ‘Half-Blood Prince,’ I can assuredly say she can do it all. She is a great comedienne, and brings real gravitas to the dramatic scenes.
“Dan Radcliffe. What He’s Done: Best known as the beloved boy wizard from the ‘Harry Potter’ films, he’s also made headlines by going full frontal for the London stage revival of ‘Equus.’
What’s Next: ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ is due in theaters next summer, and -after putting his “wand” on display in the Broadway run of ‘Equus’ – he’ll return to London to begin filming the two-part ‘Potter’ finale, ‘The Deathly Hallows.’

What’s Next: Hopefully ‘Potter’ hysteria prepared him well for playing vampire dreamboat Edward Cullen in the next page-to-screen phenomenon, ‘Twilight.’
Industry Buzz: “His career could be extremely unique,” director Catherine Hardwicke (‘Twilight’) tells us. “He’s a powerful, sexy leading man and slips incredibly well into different periods and styles. I’d also love to see him work on Tim Burton-esque films where he has the opportunity to create completely wild, original characters that become classics.”
Roger Friedman of Fox 911 news is on record stating that if you’re not at the Equus opening tomorrow night, you might as well be making lint balls from your dryer . He’s also the fellow that tried to pin the blame on Dan’s role in Equus for delaying the movie 6 release. I suppose that means he’ll be there?
To Potions_git, no it’s EMMA that has a film (animated) coming out soon and obviously Twilight with Robert Pattinson. They’re still making ruoert’s movies and god knows when they will be released (next summer, earliest). I’m not ithat nterested in rupert or robert myself so i’m not likely to see their stuff except for the hp stuff for that matter. Dan is already out there doing Equus, and will be until February. People are seeing him every night and we’re getting reports all the time (yay!)

@Jessica: He DID die, at the end of Goblet. I think they may be using the “appearance” [the picture on the mirror] as having “done” OOTP. Guess they aren’t much for CGI…LOL I still hold, all, that Mr Grint is going to come into “his own” with this next movie. Most certainly with ‘Deathly Hallows’....All is not lost, Weasley Fans!

I’m a big fan of Dan, Emma, and Rupert, but I couldn’t care less about this list or any of the other silly lists coming out of the Hollywood media.
Congrats to Dan and Emma! Oh yeah, and Robert :) All very beautiful people. Ha, I KNEW people would get all upset Rupert wasn’t on it. lol Oh well!! Can’t control the media. Dan is more reconizable because well, he’s the sexy Harry Potter and Emma because she’s his best female friend. Then comes Ron. That’s how it always has been but oh well. Not too upset because Dan is my man, so pretty and hot and talented and risk-taking and powerful and everything else. Rupes is sooooo not my type. Way too laid back….with Dan you have a little boy hyped up on sugar with you all day long haha. But anyway good to know these 3 made the list!
BTW- I LOOOVE what they said about Zac Efron! It is sooooo true! my god is that guy annoying and ugly….
Rupert’s on MY list of hotties, that’s for sure. :D Who wouldn’t think he’s hot? That’s just crazy! Whoever thinks Rupert is not hot: go check into a psych ward. :)
I can’t see Emma doing Betsy and Napoleon, unless she squeezes it in between now and the final film. She just announced her intention to drop films altogether after the final Potter film so she can attend University for 4 years.
I have never thought that the Napoleon and Betsy thing was a good vehicle for her anyway. I’m just not sure how comfortably she could play opposite a middle aged man, especially playing a 13-year old girl. I know there are girls who could, but Emma, God bless her, is a pretty straight laced and proper type. The whole thing sounds creepy to me.
