We have more details for you about Friday's live PotterCast, the first live discussion of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, the latest Harry Potter-related book. It is at 6-8 p.m. at Books of Wonder in NYC.

We are happy to announce that Cheryl Klein, continuity editor of the Harry Potter books in the US, will be joining us for the festivities and book discussion! (And potentially trouncing John at Scrabble. It remains to be seen whether John will accept the challenge.)

Secondly, anyone who buys a copy of Beedle from Books of Wonder today or tomorrow will be entered in a prize drawing for an exclusive, limited edition set of prints of Mary Grandpre's full-color artwork for all seven Harry Potter titles. This set has been exclusively created for Books of Wonder. The drawing will be held Friday evening just before 8 p.m.

There will also be a free HP-related giveaway to everyone who attends!

If you like, let us know you're coming by visiting our Facebook page for the event or e-mailing us at staff@pottercast.com. We can't wait to see you there! It's going to be a great time!

Lucky Books of Wonder shoppers to get a chance to win the artwork. But I’m already back from Border’s with my copy of Beedle the Bard and can’t wait to read it.

Melissa, please give Cheryl a big hug from us older Harry fans in the “Platinum threads among the Gold” thread in the Leaky Lounge. We have deeply appreciated the work of all in bringing Harry to us.

Other than that, HAVE BIG FUN! I’ll be running my video camera at one of the Border’s parties in Phoenix.

Do you get entered for the drawing if you order the book online from their website? Or does it have to be in person? Just wondering, I’d love a chance to be entered for such a great prize!

I can’t be there (it is a long walk from California!) in person, but I will be in spirit. I hope everyone has a great time. (And John . . “Ebullioscopic” is a great scrabble word (if it only didn’t have so many letters!)

I saw your BlogTV PotterCast. Ask the MuggleCasters how to do it without the lag/break ups. They did a similar live reaction show last year for Deathly Hallows and since then have done several live shows over Ustream.tv.
