Since Jo has so kindly and wonderfully answered questions about her characters in this interview, I think it only right and proper to return the favour lest she ever read these comments.

Madame Hooch is, of course, crazy about McGonagall and has been for many years.

She has, of course, kept this very much to herself obviously not even allowing her own author to know, but trust us, we’ve seen the evidence.

Hope that helps clear things up!

(And a thousand thanks to Jo for a wonderful interview.)

Just finished! It was AMAZING. Now I have to wait a WHOLE WEEK for the next part! Geeeeez. Wow. So much awesomeness. Hearing her voice alongside my favorite trio for the first time is such a treat! This interview to me represents everything about Jo and Harry Potter that I love….a devotion and love for the fans. Even though I don’t work for Bloomsbury, Scholastic, WB, Leaky, Pottercast or any other organization or fansite affiliated with Harry Potter, I still feel like I’m a part of all this. It almost makes me want to cry to think how devoted Jo is to her fans. How many super celebrities do this kind of thing for their fans??!! Not many. Jo is clearly down to earth and well a “normal” person (dare I say it). Hearing her talk about Christmas shopping, etc. makes me feel like she is a next door neighbor that I can relate to in many different ways. This interview makes me feel almost like Jo did this just for me. I’ve been listening to Pottercast for a long time now and I feel like Melissa, John, and Sue are my friends. So, Jo just chatted with some of my good friends. That is awesome. When I look back on these years of the Harry Potter phenomenon and tell my future children about it I feel like I’m going to be able to say I was an active participant in the fandom. I am just so touched by this. I can hardly even contain my emotions. Thank you Jo, you are just such a wonderful person. You have made these past few years absolutely wonderful. Oh, and I must say, I live in Fayetteville, AR, USA but I read Harry Potter for the first time when I was in Europe. It was the first and only time I’ve been to Europe and looking back I am so glad I started reading them over there. It just makes it that much more sentimental to me. Well. this is really long so I suppose I will go to bed now as it’s 3:30am and I must get up in about 5 hours. Good night everyone! Thanks again Jo! Merry Christmas!!!!!!

That was fantastic! I can’t wait for Part 2 – by the way, is it going to be released a little earlier than Tuesday? Not that listening to you guys and Jo is a bad way to spend Christmas, but seeing it was released at around 7pm Australian time today (and I’ll be out til late that night), I’d have to cross my fingers that I had time to download and listen Boxing Day in between work, seeing The Golden Compass and getting ready to go on holidays!

JKR, awesome as always! Amazing interview. I hope she does do the character info and writing info like she said for the “Scottish Book”

Do we really have to wait a week for the next bit? Ah well it’ll be worth the wait! :)
