Followup: JKR Painted Egg Raises £2600 for Charity

Last week we told you that Harry Potter author J.K.Rowling had donated a special ceramic egg that she painted as part of a fundraising effort for the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland. This egg was sold for £2600 ($4,518) at a special charity auction and dinner. The Edinburgh Evening News reports that total of the event " organised by Make Your Mark (MYM), a charitable young enterprise company formed by senior pupils at George Heriot's School, raised almost £30,000. "
