Reader Catherine wrote to share with us her eyewitness account of Brendan Gleeson's appearance at a Harry Potter-themed event held in Dublin to aid Chernobyl Children's Project International.

"It was a truly authentic Evening at Hogwarts, which apparated at Trinity College, Dublin - the Dining Hall of the oldest university in the British Isles and Ireland, (founded by Elisabeth the 1st) complete with Great Hall, Quidditch Arena and Potions Dungeons.
Stdents were escorted by House Ghosts and House Founders to Classes given by Hogwarts Teachers in Full Dress, owls flew over the huge oak dining tables (by 17th C paintings!!!)and Brendan Gleeson came for 2 hours! We introduced him as Professor Moody's muggle twin Brother, because he thought noone would recognise him without his make-up!!! The room errupted when he came in!

His agent told me people were screaming for him all month and we were the only thing he did!
It was great for a few Potterheads in Dublin to achieve true magic on such a great scale."
