Every year, Time Magazine chooses an individual as their “Person of the Year.” This award is given to “the person or persons who most affected the news and our lives, for good or for ill, and embodied what was important about the year.” Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is apparently among those in top consideration for this year’s award, as Reuters reports a panel discussion was held this week by the magazine to choose their nominee, and our favourite author is among the top nominees. Others on the list include a variety of people such as Bono, Steve Jobs, The Google Guys, Lance Armstrong, and even Mother Nature. If you would like, you can cast a vote for J.K. Rowling to be the Person of the Year at this link on the Time website. The Person of the Year will be revealed December 18th. Thanks Barbara!
