Reading ’til their eyes pop out…

YA librarian Cedar let us know about a Desert Sun article about summer reading programs. More than 100 kids at the La Quinta clubhouse of the Boys & Girls Club of Coachella Valley spent the summer reading, including 10 year old Jared Reed, who read Sorcerer’s Stone, and said, “Once I get into the middle of a story, I want to read more… You want to read till your eyes pop out.”
