Disabilities in Harry Potter Fanfic

The Ouch! section of the BBC's website has an article focusing on fanfics about characters with disabilities. Reporter Christina Papamichael writes about how fanfic authors, including those with disabilities including cerebral palsy and neuromuscular diseases, use creative writingto explore how witches and wizards deal with physical challenges, and the ways those challenges impact their "self-image, the way others relate to them, and how they fit into their environment."
