Mike Newell: GOF Won't Be Bland

In an interview in The Age, director Mike Newell talks about the upcoming GOF film, saying he "won't be churning out a bland studio product." He says: "You find a way to make this stuff your own and you find, wonderfully enough, that that's exactly what the studio want. The studio doesn't want a homogenised thing. They're perfectly happy to have each of the films directed by somebody different, and so should look different and be different. So I'm surprisingly happy."
