Followup: JKR Mini-Book Raises $20,000 for Charity

Previously, we told you of a special miniature book that author J.K.Rowling wrote in order to raise money for the 999Club, a charity to help the homeless. Last night the private auction was held, and the book by JKRowling sold for £11,000 ($20,223 USD). The highest seller of the night was a mini-book by Muhammad Ali, which sold for £17,000 ($31,251 USD).





The Leaky Cauldron is not associated with J.K. Rowling, Warner Bros., or any of the individuals or companies associated with producing and publishing Harry Potter books and films.
