We received an article from This is Brighton & Hove about a boy named Elliott Stubbs playing a “continuity extra” in the upcoming Prisoner of Azkaban. We only have the text and we’ll post the URL as soon as it appears on the Web site. Here’s some snippets:

Schoolboy Elliott Stubbs is acting out every child’s dream – he plays a young wizard in the new Harry Potter film.

As a pupil learning at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the 13-year-old has been rubbing shoulders with the stars of the film and learning behind-the-scenes gossip.

As a continuity extra, Elliott is filmed near the lead characters, such as Hermione, played by 12-year-old Emma Watson and Harry himself, actor Daniel Radcliffe, 13, and has got to know them well.

The fantasy adventure film includes many special effects, which add to the challenge for Elliott.

He said: “It’s great to see behind the scenes but doing scenes with special effects can be quite hard.

“The other day we were filming in a classroom where a cupboard was meant to be flying round the room. We had to follow it with our eyes even though nothing was there.
