Scotsman Article on JKR's Labor & Delivery

Posted by: Melissa
March 28, 2003, 12:04 PM linked to an article in The Scotsman about the non-NHS midwife that JKR used for David's delivery last week. Midwife Debs Purdue didn't say much about the birth itself, to protect JKR's privacy, but she did say that the labour was short. As this editor is about to take her second trip through the wonders of childbirth, the article, as a whole, was very interesting for its look into the British traditions and practises of midwifery and National Health Service childbirth practises.
