The Evening Times reports on the Scottish home reading initiative, Read Together, which is backed by several celebrities including JK Rowling. Said Peter Peacock, education minister: "This is the time of year when people traditionally think about making New Year's resolutions. It's also the perfect time to consider spending time reading with your children...I hope everyone will find time to read together with their children in 2004."
